This is a wonderful optical illusion. This little dragon is made out of paper - you simply cut it out and stick it together, and stand it on a table. When you move around, the dragon's head seems to follow you around the room. View the video, to see what I mean.

How does it work? If we move around when viewing a solid object, our brain knows how the object we are looking at should behave. However the dragon gives us the wrong clues, because we mis-interpret what its shape is. We assume that the nose of the dragon is pointing out towards us, but in fact the dragon's head is concave.

You can download a copy of the actual dragon and try this illusion for yourself if you wish.

well anyway, it is a great cca although it is a little tough...and although we will sometimes get punished by our seniors for the noise level...but generally it is a very very very great cca!! our seniors rox totally...erm..our motto is damn cool*at least i feel so..*...it is 死也要拼出来dance is about group work and not wanting to get all the attention from the audience...and nt to boast about how well you can dance...there is a song called 舞出彩虹..in case some of you cant see it...it's WU CHU CAI HONG...the lyrics is so damn true...you should only hear your heart telling you that you love dance...said by one of my senior(zifang)..some of you will be thinking...huh...then cant hear music how to dance..?? but it is possible...我用心舞出每一个希望..~~heart~~

in crescent dance, you didn't have to dance well to be a dancer. whether you were a national dancer or had no dance background, we're all equal in crescent dance...

crezdanceSYF2007 -the passion, the glory, the bonding.if this is what Crescent Dance is about, then i would definitely want to be a big part of it.there's an indescribable feeling when you perform on stage, that cannot be put into words..those that aren't in the performing arts, you really don't know what you're missing!..*ps..said by karen..which i find tt is really true..*

During science lesson, Mr Tan was talking about lever. He said that a broom used more effort but moved a longer distance to save time. He demostrated it to us. By the way, he used a mike as our class had always been noisy. He put down his mike and demostrated. He then took the broom and demostrated it. After demostrating, Xing Hui laughed, Mr Tan, very innocently, said "Why?" Soon, he realised that he had been holding on to the broom talking into it as if it was a mike!! Why did he do it? Did he do it to sacrifice himself, being a serious man doing that to attract our attention. Especially those who were in dreamland during science lessons? Or did the mike go mad!!?? During Chinese class, Ms Chai said, "Ah Pei, wei shen me mei you kai visualiser? na me lan duo eh eah..." Xun Kai replied, "ru guo wo shi Ah Pei, na ni ken ding jiu shi cao ji lao Ah Mah le!" Sometimes he would reply, "dui ah, wo hen lan duo de, ni zi ji kai lah." This conversation happened lots of time in Chinese class that I could even memorise it. Ms Chai also called Angela Ah Mah, but Angela did not bother. Most of us called her Ah Mah thats why. But most of us called Xun Kai Ali Ba Ba, Ah Meng (a monkey) or Ah Pei. Do you know why we called Angela this and Xun Kai that. Angela - she wore spectacles that always went down to her nose like a Ah Mah and her hair was sometimes tied in a round ball shape like an Ah Mah, with her hair dropped down by the side. Xun Kai - he walked so slowly like an Ah Pei that even a tortise could crawl faster than him, We called him Ali Ba Ba because he was dark for a Chinese . Ah Meng was called just for fun. What a wierd class we had.

This blog is dying soon. To revive it,
I am gonna type the story of Mahadhir.
Some of you might have heard of it already.
But will cut short some parts though.
I am quite lazy to type. XD
Here goes.....

The "wonderful" white group think that this "wonderful", "neat" leader is "mahadear". Well actually only Godfrey calls him that. This leader is very "responsible" and always "remembers" to signs his tests.

Actually I do not like to use open and close inverted commas to describe him. Let's describe the real him without using any open and close inverted commas.

The noisy white group think that this noisy, untidy leader is Mahadear. Well, actually only Godfrey calls him that. This leader is very irresponsible and always forgets to sign his tests.

He doesn't like me to write all bad things about him so I have to write some good things about him. He is funny. That's all. Let's go back to the bad things.

I still rmember our poor white tape. It was tortured inside our untidy leader's pencilbox. The beautiful white tape turned into black in just a week or two. Others might mistake us for the Black group if they see our tape. Such a disgrace.

He has a very special way of taking homework from the teacher. if there are many, he stuffs some into his pockets and holds some in his hands. this results in crumpled worksheets. I pity us.

Note: I am very longwinded, not like daisy, short and sweet.

Or that entertaining and humorous...

Well, since Daisy started it, I might as well introduce my school to you all as well. As you all know, I study in Crescent Girls School. Girls school, sian. Crescent Girls uniform is yellow shirt and blueish-green skirt or duno what color is that. Never mind, not that important.

Crescent Girls School is at Jervois Rd. What kind of word is JERVOIS???? It is up a hill and it is so horribly tiring to climb up. But after school it's downhill so easy to go down. If you are not careful, you might roll down. (too exaggerating never mind.)

Crescent has 8 blocks, namely, Alexandra, Belvedere, Chatsworth, Delta, Echo, Futura, G and H block. The blocks are named after roads, places and buildings in the vicinity of our school.

The school has an air-conditioned hall, 6 Science labs, 2 for each of the 3 sciences. There is also alot of other places of the school which I haven't really found out what are they for and what are they called. But I sometimes hear the teachers mentioning about a Millennium classroom... and then got some weird weird theatres, multi purpose room and so on.

The newest addition to the school is the Block H a.k.a Arts Conservatory. I am not really sure about what it contains inside so I will not elaborate... What else is there to say.....ah.....oh yes! There is this Rothunda<---duno how spell. It is actually a spiral staircase where you can get to any part of the school through it. But it is tiring to climb all the way up. I don't think there is any lift in the school, I don't think I have seen any so far...

AND...my school uses tablet PC!!!!!This is a very great thing about the school. But Sec1s must 2nd semester then can use. I can't wait! I am running out of ideas of things to say about my school. The Daisy Issue.

Tsk tsk... You people don't know how to take care of blog at all *wags finger* . No entries at all! The previous entries---> no words at all! =OO

I've got a blog, too. But I'd like to keep it anonymous for the time being, too personal issues to be read. Wahaha!

Okay anyways =.-" .. let me so-called boast a lil' about my current school - Cedar Girls.

First of all, it's bloody far of a walking distance. Lying in the midst of all the private houses, the school is usually invaded by stupid little primary Cedarians from next door looking for their sisters. And, yea, most of the time they can be seen shooed by the Guard, asking them to stand outside the school gate and pop their heads in instead. School layout is generally alright, a whole lot larger than QPS (d'uh). 10 laboratories in 4 levels, gymnasiums and etc, etc.. nothing really interesting in particular.

Next, the teachers. My form teacher sucks - and by that, I mean really, sucks. She looks really pretty and pleasant, but hey, haven't you heard that in most people, the looks are often superior to the brain they possess? This applies to her, apparently. I shall skip the part about how she made it as a teacher, though (coz this i myself do wonder -.-''). She's a bloody unreasonable spinster, and no, Jia Yun, she does NOT spins around in class.

To make up for that *&%#@ teacher we have, we get this really wonderful history teacher who never scolds if he catches you reading Agatha Christie, drawing cows or even SMSing in class. On top of that, he's really hilarious, what a pity that does not make history any less boring. =.=

On a more sympathetic note, something really traumatizing must have happened to my form teacher. Because, although there is a slight possibility that she has been grosteque in manners since birth, such extreme unreasonability (-> okay I made this word up, nvm) simply can NOT be in nature!


I'm lazy to type more already. Wait til' some other days wakakaka~
